FACT. More and more European Eagle Owls are living free in England. REASON. Over the years more of these birds are being sold to the pubic . After a while (few years) these Birds are no longer wanted, some are let go, these people think they have released them back to the wild (Wrong!) Some have escaped. These Birds then find a partner and start to Breed, FACT. THESE BIRDS ARE LIVING FREELY IN ENGLAND. They catch the easiest form of food this will include domestic Cats, Dogs as well as wild Rabbits, Rats, Mice, etc......... |

We are a centre that holds and cares for Disabled Birds of prey no matter what disability they have (within reason) Blind birds recognise handlers by sound and pens are kept unmoved, All birds are kept in aviaries big enough for that individual bird , fed on top Quality meat, this includes all meats, MOST BIRDS TAKEN ON STATIC SHOWS ARE DISABLED BIRDS either had broken Bones now healed , Blind, either in 1 eye or both. No Claws, or are an amputee, Some birds are given to Manyhoots as a gift Due to circumstances beyond the ex owners control, also by veterinary clinics these birds are fit, but cannot be released to the wild, some are imprinted, (Wildness taken from them). Some of our birds are rescue purchased. We display these birds to you for educational purposes.
