It is advised that birds owners attending these events have Bio Security in place( alcohol hand wash) Falconers must not pass gloves to other bird handlers from other areas. Prevent avian contamination. FAILEUR TO COMPLY TO THE BRITISH AVIAN FLU REGULATIONS CARRIES A FINE OF £5,000 OR A JAIL SENTANCE OF 6 MONTHS.

You may only take a native wild Owl into captivity if it is unable to fend for itself. And Then only for the purpose to tendering it until it is fit for release. If the Owl is Permanently Disabled it may be used for educational display to the public, provided you have obtained an Article 10 certificate . Applicants must provide a letter from a Veterinary surgeon confirming that the bird is permanently disabled and provide full Details of its acquisition. The SALE OF WILD BIRDS IS NOT ALLOWED.
